- Pain
- Pain Control - Pain being an entirely personal experience, it is difficult to measure, but Melzack's McGill Pain Questionnare asks a number of directed questions to assess and categorize that experience. By collecting words used to describe pain by the patients themselves, Melzack ended up with about 200 words.
- Your Pain - Migraine headaches, Back Pain, Muscle pain, and Phantom limb
- Migraine Headaches - Migraine with aura is a neurological disease characterized by flare-ups generally referred to as "migraine attacks." "Aura" refers to the non-headache features of migraine that often happen before, or in the place of, the actual headache.
- Back Pain - Back pain is one of humanity's most frequent complaints and does not always reflect any underlying condition.
- Muscle Pain - Myalgia means "muscle pain" and is a symptom of many diseases and disorders.
- Phantom Limb - Phantom pains can also occur in people who are born without limbs and people who are paralyzed. Phantom pains occur when the missing limb causes discomfort. Some other sensations include warmth, cold, itching, squeezing and burning. The missing limb often feels shorter and may feel as if it is in a distorted and painful position. Occasionally, the pain can be made worse by stress, anxiety and weather changes.
